Location
This flying site is situated on National Trust land, on the A640 Huddersfield to Rochdale road (near to the old Nont Sarahs Pub).
There is a car park opposite the junction of the A640 & B6114.
Wind Direction
You need a South or South Westerly wind, for best flying conditions on this slope.
Other Details
You can now fly electric powered gliders, as well as normal slope soaring aircraft.
You must be a member of the Marsden Moor Soaring Association to use the site. Details are on their website (link below).

This site is often referred to as ‘Nont Sarahs’ because of its close proximity to the pub in the past. The pub closed down some years ago.
